Always Six O’Clock: Clock Skew, NTP and the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
The Hatter quarrelled with Time, so at his table it is always six o’clock. Let a server’s clock drift a few minutes and it joins the tea party: logins fail, tokens expire early, certificates aren’t valid yet, and your incident timeline stops making sense.
